ইংরেজি গ্রামারের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ হলো Sentence Transformation বা বাক্য রূপান্তর। নিচে বিভিন্ন প্রকার বাক্যের ধরন, গঠন এবং পরিবর্তনের নিয়মগুলো সহজ ভাষায় ব্যাখ্যা করা হলো:

✅ ১. অর্থ অনুসারে বাক্যের প্রকার: (৫টি)

ধরন	নাম (বাংলা)	উদাহরণ
Assertive	বক্তব্যবাচক	He is a good boy.
Interrogative	প্রশ্নবাচক	Is he a good boy?
Imperative	আদেশ/অনুরোধ/নিষেধ	Please sit down.
Optative	ইচ্ছাবাচক	May you live long.
Exclamatory	বিস্ময়বাচক	What a wonderful idea!

✅ ২. গঠন অনুসারে বাক্যের প্রকার: (৩টি)

Compound	দুটি বা তার বেশি স্বাধীন clause	He came and he smiled.
Complex	একটি প্রধান ও একটি تابع clause	I know that he is honest.

✅ ৩. Voice (Active/Passive):

✅ ৪. Degree of Comparison:

Superlative	He is the strongest boy in the class.

🔁 Affirmative → Negative রূপান্তর:

Must/Have to	Cannot but/ Cannot help + verb+ing	We must work hard → We cannot but work hard.

As soon as	No sooner had...than	As soon as he reached, it rained → No sooner had he reached than it rained.
Universal Truth	Negative Interrogative	Water boils at 100°C → Doesn’t water boil at 100°C?

❓ Assertive → Interrogative:

😲 Exclamatory → Assertive:

🔄 Sentence Transformation (Simple ⇄ Compound ⇄ Complex):

Compound	He is a doctor and he serves people.
Complex	As he is a doctor, he serves people.

🔼 Degree Transformation:

• Superlative → Comparative → Positive:
  Cox’s Bazar is the longest sea beach in the world.
  → Cox’s Bazar is longer than any other sea beach in the world.
  → No other sea beach is as long as Cox’s Bazar.


• Comparative → Positive → Superlative:
  Rahim is taller than Karim.
  → Karim is not as tall as Rahim.
  → Rahim is the tallest of the two.


• One of the best → Very few:
  Shakespeare is one of the greatest playwrights.
  → Very few playwrights are as great as Shakespeare.
  → Shakespeare is greater than most other playwrights.
